We are looking to grow the business by adding a Downsizing Manager and Team Members. We are very team oriented and work together to provide stellar customer service.

Downsizing Manager

  • Meet with clients to identify their needs and develop a customized Move Plan

  • Plan, coordinate, and guide clients through the entire moving process.

  • Assist clients to determine which items to keep, donate, gift, sell, or discard

  • Professionally pack all items and coordinate with movers

  • Meet scheduling and budget objectives; oversee implementation of objectives

  • Resource management of asset liquidations (consignment, auctions, donations, etc)

  • Coordinate with community managers, real estate agents, and other partners

  • Motivate, supervise, train and direct team members

  • Ensure adequate supplies and materials are available to complete the project

  • Utilize project management tools for timely completion of a project

The Downsizing Manager tackles everything, works with the team members, movers and communities.

Salary based on experience.

 

Qualifications

All applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • A great, team-oriented attitude that includes honesty and compassion as part of your fabric
  • Superior work ethic and leadership qualities
  • Respectful of client’s home and home environment
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Available to work up to 5 days per week between the hours of 8am-6pm
    (no guarantee of the number of hours in a given week)
  • Must have access to reliable vehicle, computer and cell phone
  • Should be able to lift up to 35 lbs and work physically for a minimum of 6 hours
  • A high school graduate or GED equivalent is required; B.A. or B.S., preferred
  • Complete background check
  • Comfortable with technology 
  • Experience with seniors, preferred
  • Organizational experience, a plus

Team Member

  • Assist clients to determine which items to keep, donate, gift, sell, or discard
  • Professionally pack all items and coordinate with movers

  • Coordinate with community managers and other partners

  • Ensure adequate supplies and materials are available to complete the project

  • Works with client(s) to define specific needs that match the life stage of that client.
  • Works as a team with other team members to provide the best possible service to clients.
  • Takes part in managing movers, packing and unpacking client belongings.
  • Consideration and care are provided to client and client’s goods at all times while working.
  • Addresses unexpected issues as they occur. Maintains confidence and composure to assure the client that we will reach a solution. Implements solutions that are appropriate to the client’s needs and ensure that issue is resolved.
  •  Accepts ownership and is willing to accomplish new and different requests in order to explore and deliver value added services and opportunities.
